Note on possible data loss when deleting a cloud service account

In the past, Admina has only allowed deactivation of cloud service accounts that may have lost content in order to avoid unintentional deletion of important content. However, in order to meet the need for deleting accounts along with data deletion, we have decided to open an operation that allows account and content deletion with a warning message starting in 2024.

For certain cloud services, cloud service accounts can be deactivated or deleted in two ways.

Some cloud services will delete your account along with the content data held by the account to be deleted when you select the delete operation. Please be careful when performing the operation.

      

Please refer to the table below for specific target services and data.

When this deletion operation is executed, the account to be deleted will be completely removed from the cloud service. At the same time, content data owned by the account (mailbox mail data, My Drive data, etc.) will also be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

 

When deleting such an account, please be aware of the risk and specifications that the content will also be deleted. Please be aware that deleted content may be recoverable in some cases, but basically, it cannot be recovered by Admina.

 

When performing a deletion operation with such a strong impact, the following warning message and confirmation checkbox will appear on the screen. Please check it carefully before proceeding to the next step.
