Checking service access status

In Admina, you can check the access log to SaaS in the following way.

  1. Checking access status by logging in with Google

If you are linked to Google Workspace, you can check the access status of services accessed using Google Login. For details , please see [Reference article] How Shadow IT is detected using Google Workspace (details).

  1. Checking access status using Admina extension

You can check the access status of services on browsers with the extension installed. For more information on the Admina extension, see Distributing the Admina Browser Extension to Detect Shadow IT and Obtain SaaS Activity .

Check the event log

Go to Integration > Event Log. You can filter by service name or email address. You can view up to 3 months worth of logs.

  • Service Name : Displays the name of the detected SaaS.
  • Event Name : Displays events such as Authorize, Revoke, etc.
  • Occurrence Date and Time : Displays the detection date and time.
  • EMAIL/UUID : Displays the accessed email address and *UUID.
  • Domains : Shows the domains detected by the extension
  • Source : Displays whether the detection method is Google Login (Google Auth) or Extension (Browser Extension).
*UUID is displayed if no email address is set in the Admin extension.

export

Event logs can be exported as the following two types of reports. Click [ Export ] in the upper right, select the format you want to export, and export.

Raw data (CSV)

Exports the filtered data from the event log page to a CSV file. The exported content is the same as what is displayed in the UI.

Summary Report (XLSX)

A monthly report is output to an Excel file. You can specify a period of up to one year to export.

The exported data will be displayed by month in two tabs:

  • Services tab
    • Service name : The name of the service detected during the month.
    • Event log count: Displays the total number of records detected in the event log.
    • Number of users : This records how many users have accessed the service.

  • service_email tab

A matrix is displayed showing which users (email addresses) accessed each service and how many times that service was accessed.
