What you can do with this feature

It is possible to detect (filter) files and folders that match the conditions specified in Google Drive.

This page explains the types of filtering conditions and how to set them.

Setup Procedure

From Services > Google Drive > Files tab, click the 🔧 [Change files to sync] button.

Specifying the file type

It is possible to detect files of a specific file type (MIME type).

The file types that can be specified are in accordance with Google Drive. For details about the file types that can be specified, see the following Google Drive document.

MIME types supported by Google Workspace and Google Drive

Specifying the file owner

You can detect files and folders with a specified owner. Enter the email address of the file or owner you want to detect in the Owner emails field and save it.

Specifying a shared drive

It is possible to detect public files and folders in a specified shared drive. Enter the drive ID of the shared drive in Drive IDs.

The Drive ID of the shared drive can be found in the URL.

Please note that you cannot specify the ID of a folder. Only the top-level "shared drive" is supported.

Running a Synchronization

After you set it, the filter settings will be applied the next time you sync. You can also sync manually by clicking the Sync button on the File tab. To edit or delete the filter, go to Services > Google Drive > File tab again and click the 🔧 [Change files to sync] button.
